What is life?

Natural life is a precious gift that God has entrusted to humankind.

Natural life is the cycle between birth and death. It is called: being, existence, presence, lifespan, and many other things.



1. What does natural living mean?

  • This life is a hollow soap bubble!
  • Life is a walking shadow!
  • Life is dwelling on the past, complaining about the present, and trembling before the future!

2. The spiritual - eternal life

Paul says: Christ is my life! My strength, my joy, my everything.Yes, the very source of my life.


For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. 
Romans 6:23 (ESV)

And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. 
John 17:3 (ESV)

a) Recognize God

Ich, der HERR, der König und Befreier Israels, der allmächtige Gott, sage: Ich bin der Erste und der Letzte. Außer mir gibt es keinen Gott! Jesaja 44,6 (HFA).

Because God created the world, people can perceive his invisible nature, his eternal power, and divine majesty with their intellect through his works of creation. The universe is a revelation of power and divine nature. According to Romans 1:19-20

b) To recognize Jesus Christ

And know the one you have sent, Jesus Christ. The sending of the Son of God is the work of redemption. In the New Testament, God's revelation is definitively and conclusively revealed in the person of Jesus Christ, through whom people can now come to full knowledge of God, which is based on forgiveness! According to Jeremiah 31:34

c) Knowledge through the action of the Holy Spirit


That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,
Ephesians 1:17 (ESV)

d) Imparting knowledge about the Word of God

You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me,
John 5:39 (ESV).

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
Romans 10:17 (ESV)


4. Concluding sentence



Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you!

Deepen your relationship with Him through prayer and God's Word.

Transformation of human into heavenly body
