God loves his people

Yes, he loved his people, call his holy ones were in his hand; so they followed in your steps, receiving direction from you. Deuteronomy 33:3 (ESV)

God gave Moses the Ten Commandments. In this way he got to know the holy God more deeply and became God's mouthpiece and mediator for His people. The Israelites stood before him in awe when Moses went to the tent of meeting.

Moses emphasizes three important things, which he inculcates like a legacy for the following generations.

This mighty and glorious God, who has revealed himself so mightily, is a God who loves people. How he loves his people!

Jeremiah speaks to his people, whom the Lord wants to bless:

The Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.
Jeremiah 31:3 (ESV)

This fact runs like a red thread through the whole history of salvation.

And finds its fulfillment in the New Testament

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8 (ESV)

My testimony: Shortly before I turned 15, I entrusted my young life to God. It was during prayer for young people in Schorndorf-Weiler. Although there was no train connection at that time, I rode my bike from Allmersbach through the forest to these prayer meetings.

It was contagious to see young people praying and turning to God. I felt a deep remorse and asked Jesus to forgive me as well. At that moment I was overcome by a strong longing for God and an unprecedented joy. I was so filled with divine power that I got off my bike on the ride home and thanked God for his peace. Many years have passed since then. I thank God for His love and eternal salvation through Jesus Christ.

It is the strong hand of God that leads safely and from which nothing can snatch us!

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
Psalms 118:6 (ESV)

"So they followed in your steps, receiving direction from you"
Deuteronomy 33:3 b

When we spend time with God and listen to Him, His Word becomes a guiding light on our path, guiding us into all truth. In this way we experience encouragement and encouragement, but also correction and direction. Yes, we are getting to know our God better and better. These are blessings I don't want to give up!
