The coronation

Crown for royal dignity
Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies. Psalm 103,1-4 (KJV)
Crowns are used by rulers in state affairs. And only a certain person of royal descent can receive them.
But the Bible reports that all who belong to Jesus Christ receive an imperishable crown. The Crown of Justice:
„I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.“ 2.Timotheus 4,7-8 (KJV).
It was 1979 in Vancouver, Canada, during the World Pentecost Conference. On Sunday morning we were divided into local assemblies. A violin artist named Wannenmacher was a guest. Back then for over 80 years. He was led to the desk. With his last strength he plays a song in honor of God. Then the encouraging words of a missionary: „My son, I have crowned you on earth, I will crown you again.“ Again and again the picture of the old man comes before my eyes.
The crown of thorns
The crown of thorns that was pressed into Jesus‘ forehead: It was supposed to be a mockery of his royal dignity. In reality it was a symbol of the deepest salvation significance.
It was a sign of completion for man because he won the victory over the curse of sin, which came through the first human couple, over all humanity.
We are aware that without merit alone through the ransom of Jesus we receive the jewelry of the highest dignitary. An immortal, wonderful piece of jewelry and the highest distinction. Can’t be described in words.
Crown of life
As written in the beginning, we have been crowned with grace and mercy. That is God’s care for us humans. The Bible points to the „crown of life“ and says:
„Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.“
Jakobus 1,12 (KJV).
According to the biblical term concordance, the crown is the decoration of honor and symbolizes the goal of completion for the highest dignitary.
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. Offenbarung 2,10 (KJV)
When we arrive at our destination, we are welcomed into a large mansion. And we are presented with fine clothes, clean and made of shiny linen! – are we aware of this honor?
The ultimate goal of our coronation is eternal communion with the Father the Son and the many thousands of angels, in glorious splendor and divine majesty!
All people who received Jesus Christ by faith will be with the Lord forever. Nobody will undress or degrade her any more! You will be there forever. It pays to “remain faithful to Christ” until the end of your earthly career! A M E N!
