God's incomparable greatness
1. Moses was on Mount Sinai in the presence of God for many days
The people of Israel, who camped at the foot of the mountain, became impatient. They urged Aaron, 'Come on, make us gods! They shall go before us and show us the way. Who knows what has happened to Moses.'
Aaron listened to the people. He created a golden calf. When it was finished, the Israelites shouted, 'This is our god who has freed us from Egypt.' They celebrated a wild feast and danced around the golden calf. After Exodus 32.
Three months earlier, God paved the way through the Red Sea. He saved the Israelites from the hand of the enemy. The people of Israel walked across the Red Sea on dry ground.

Who has measured the Spirit of the Lord, or what man shows him his counsel?
Whom did he consult, and who made him understand? Who taught him the path of justice, and taught him knowledge, and showed him the way of understanding?
Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket, and are accounted as the dust on the scales; behold, he takes up the coastlands like fine dust.
