My letter to the good God

So now it's 2025 after christ - in a world where hardly anyone believes in this Christ. How are you, dear God, that no one is interested in your beloved son? Although you really tried everything to conquer our hearts and you weren't even afraid to let him, your lover, die so that we could be close to you.
How are you doing these days God, watching us celebrate "Your Christmas" with opulence a few days ago, but in our hearts we didn't understand at all what incredible freedom this Christ child has brought us... because superficiality and... a little sentimentality is enough.
Do you have any ideas, God, about how we can get people in Germany excited about the “secret of Christmas” again?

So that they realize that it's not about religion for you, but about the most incredible gift imaginable: being on "you" with the Creator of the world and the King of kings! And to sit together, like friends, at a richly laid table, where you smile at us in your kindness and delight in our presence...

...about as happy as I am when my little son Josia jumps into my lap and says: "Dad, I love you from here tooooo Jupiter!"

It must break your heart, dear God, that people misunderstand you so much and have cultivated and passed on the terrible image of an aloof and indifferent God for centuries.

What can we do for you, loving God, so that you can enjoy this warmongering and ever-colder humanity again?

Or have you gotten used to the fact that we are often so cruel and hurtful to each other and prefer to enjoy the little gestures of humanity that you can still observe here and there?

Is that enough for you God? Have you lost the idealism and faith in us that we in Germany can experience more charity and empathy in everyday life again... or are we the ones who have lost this dream - while you are still secretly working on "the really big thing "You work so that millions of people in this country find completely new enthusiasm in you...

... because they recognize how much joy and laughter, how much strength and confidence and deep satisfaction one gets in your presence.  All the things that we cannot measure and yet are crucial to whether we will be happy in this life or not.

Or are you just patient with us, dear God, because you know that sooner or later we will realize that constant consumption and accumulating wealth do not make us happy - but only the one thing in life that manages to fill the hole in our hearts : to love people ♡ and to take care of those who are down with all their hearts.

You, who created us, know our hearts better than we do ourselves and told us 2025 years ago that our egoism and constant fear of falling short will make us lonely and empty in the long run.

So help us to recognize what we can achieve with our lives in order to experience a fulfilling and meaningful time on this earth - do you have an idea how this can work?

Maybe in sincere encounters with people who let us feel that we really care about them and that we don't care why they cry into their pillow at night with worry.

Maybe you can teach us again, dear God, how just a little bit of humanity can bring light and laughter into this crazy world.
If there is anything we can do for you, dear God, please let us know... because some of your "fans" down here are still thrilled by your incomprehensible miracle that you gave us 2025 years ago!

You have probably already noticed, dear God, that we humans constantly tell ourselves: “Health is the most important thing!” ... and yet we are so often sick and exhausted. Maybe that’s why you can open up a new “secret of health” to us? I can already “see” how millions of people will actually become completely new enthusiastic about you because they have discovered something groundbreaking for their lives that they may have overlooked for decades:

That your Son Jesus not only bore all our guilt on the cross, but:
"HE TOOK ON HIMSELF (!) all our diseases and bore our weaknesses! Through his wounds we are healed!" Isaiah 53:4
